Race Description:
This race is an approachable race for both beginner and seasoned runners to push their limits. The race is a fixed-time event on a 1.5-mile loop with options for 4, 12, and 24-hour runs. Fixed time races have no DNFs (Did Not Finish) anyone who finishes one loop is a finisher!

Welcome to the Montana Meltdown Fixed Time Event, a fun and competitive series of races held at Gallatin Valley Regional Park in beautiful Bozeman, Montana. Test your endurance on our 1.5-mile loop course and see how many miles you can achieve in 24 hours, 12 hours, and 4 hours.
Whether you’re here for speed, distance, or just a great time, the Montana Meltdown has something for everyone.

Race Times
We offer multiple event options, so make sure to check the start times and sign up for the race that suits you best!
24 Hour Race: Starts at 10 am
12 hours Race: Starts at 10am
4 Hour Race: Starts at 12pm
Registration Details
Deadline: Online registration closes September 23 at 11:59pm MST
Packet Pickup: Location: Race Day Pickup: Starting at 8am, available at the Start/Finish area at Gallatin Valley Regional Park. Please pick up your timing chip prior to your race start.
Crews, Aid, and Facilities
Crew Support: Runners may have crew support every lap. There is a designated area adjacent to the course for camping and one aid station
Parking: is extremely limited, please plan to carpool or ride share if possible. The course is close to local hotels. If this is not possible, please park in the Oak street lot.
Aid Stations: There is one aid station that you will pass every 1.5 miles with a variety of typical ultra food, along with vegan and gluten free options as needed.
